Woodward Lewis was started in 1990 by Jane and Nick Lewis, who between them brought big four consulting experience, strategic and financial planning knowledge and a down-to-earth approach. Since then, we’ve helped many organisations, including local authorities, central Government institutions such as HM Treasury and the MoD, and national businesses, deliver strategic and practical change, delivering performance improvements by stimulated, engaged people.
Our experience of the benefits of focusing on strengths attracted us to “positive deviance”, a way of finding and sharing hidden but successful practices. Since 2005 we have worked closely with the Positive Deviance Initiative in Boston to develop a practical way of teaching and sharing this approach. It works exceptionally well in both communities and in organisations, as it values and recognises the contribution of all involved, and delivers solutions within existing resources. Jane Lewis has lectured on this approach at Said Business School, University of Oxford, HEC Paris and Oxford Brookes University.
We have a team of trained practitioners who have outstanding coaching and facilitation skills, to help you get the most from your people.
